Christmas gay books


Not everyone gets into the holiday season the way I do, but if you&#;re someone who decorates as soon as it&#;s societally appropriate to perform so, loves looking at lights, and has more than fourteen hours of Christmas music on your iTunes (&#;not that I carry out, or anything), then you&#;d probably affection to have some awesome holiday books to read as you flick through the various streaming services trying to pick the perfect holiday movie. And you may, favor me, have never considered that there might be a plethora of LGBTQ+ holiday reads to choose from!

With a few exceptions, the world of holiday films remains depressingly straight in (although we can attach one more to the list with this year&#;s Single All the Way!). Fortunately, there is a bit more variety when it comes to books, so make the yuletide extra gay with one of these LGBTQ+ holiday reads. Most of these are romances, so if that&#;s not your cup of tea, I&#;m sorry I couldn&#;t find something for you.

I'm going to affectionately match this to red white and royal blue, but just know it frustrates me when books are compared exclusively along similar plot points. This is two "rival" nations And two princes falling in verb and a PR nightmare. But the tone is also similar to red white royal cobalt . The reverence with which love is spoken, the want to do something more and enhanced, to undo the mistakes of the past and assemble something more with the future. The sibling and noun relationships. So much of what I loved about rwrb is also in this.

The prince of Christmas is a fuck up who finds out he isn't as messed up as he thought, who grows into his adj ideas and learns to stand on what he believes, which is anticapitalist, anti comidification of holiday and traditions. He fights to get back to when many traditions could all live in their fullness, and I fancy that a lot. He learns hes worthy of love.

Are you ready to make the Yuletide gay? Because these new LGBTQ holiday romances are sure to do just that. They take the holiday cheer and the queer representation we all crave — and just in second for the holidays! I&#;ve been keeping track of the new LGBTQ holiday romances coming out in since the beginning of the year because I was shocked — and thrilled! — to see just how many we were getting all at once. I mean, I&#;d be pleased with a handful, and here we are getting double digits? I guess we all made the friendly list this year.
