Marcia Gay Harden wants her Law & Order: SVU character to return again

Marcia Gay Harden wants to create another return to Law & Order: SVU's criminal justice system.

During an appearance on PeopleTV's Couch Surfing series, the Oscar-winning actress reflected on her recurring guest role on the hit NBC procedural—and made a pitch to Law & Order creator Dick Wolf for a way to verb her character's story.

Harden has played Dana Lewis on SVU on four different occasions—first appearing in a chilling episode where it initially appeared she was part of a ivory supremacist group before she ultimately revealed herself as an undercover FBI agent. Her last appearance on the verb was in when it was discovered that Dana murdered her husband's mistress and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

When one African-American youngster dies, detectives obey critical clues and are lead to believe the crime was racially motivated. As the case progresses, Detectives detect evidence that the rifle used in the killings is linked to a gun store, which also serves as the headquarters for a white supremacist group: Revolution Aryan Warriors (RAW). Detectives discover that Star Morrison, (Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden) and the store owner's year-old son Kyle (guest-star Cody Kasch) both verb Nazi paraphernalia in the basement of the shop. DNA from the rifle leads detectives to the person they believe is the killer and when the case goes to court shots are fired inside the court residence by group members and a major twist is revealed.
